About the Trezzini
Palace Hotel

The Trezzini Palace Hotel is located in the house of the first architect of St. Petersburg, Domenico Trezzini. The Trezzini House was founded in 1723, during the lifetime of Emperor Peter the Great, and became one of the first stone buildings in the city.

Domenico Andrea Trezzini was the creator of the Peter the Great Baroque architectural style and designed such famous buildings of the city as Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Building of the Twelve Colleges, Peter's Palace in the Summer Garden, Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

The hotel is located on the University Embankment in the historical part of Vasilyevsky Island in close proximity to the main historical sites of the city – the Menshikov Palace, the Kunstkamera Museum, the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress. The hotel in this location was opened in 2013, so in 2023 the Trezzini House celebrated a double anniversary – the 300th anniversary of the palace and the 10th anniversary of the hotel.

The hotel offers its guests 21 Luxury rooms in 10 different categories. Each room is decorated in a unique style and color scheme. The hotel has rooms in Moorish, Gothic, Florentine, and nautical styles. The interiors of the hotel are decorated with antique Italian furniture, 19th-century stucco molding and reproductions of famous St. Petersburg landscapes.

Most of the rooms overlook the Neva River with views of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Annunciation Bridge, the first drawbridge in St. Petersburg. From April to November, hotel guests can enjoy the sight of the bridge over the Neva River right from their room window.

Some rooms have access to an outdoor terrace overlooking the Neva River. The central rooms of the Presidential Apartments Hotel are a suite of 5 rooms with a French balcony and three bathrooms. The total area of this room is 270 sq.m.

The living room of the Presidential Suite easily turns into a banquet hall for chamber events such as weddings or birthday celebrations. The Wedding Palace is within walking distance of the hotel, which makes the Trezzini Palace especially popular with newlyweds.

The Trezzini Palace Hotel also has a Maria Carlotta restaurant serving traditional Russian cuisine.
